Waiter/WaitressREPORTS TO: Restaurant Manager / SupervisorPOSITION
SUMMARY:Ensure that all guests are served to the Company's standards
in the Restaurant and bar area. Take orders, serve (where applicable,
prepare) food and beverages to guests as per the restaurant's
standards in a friendly, timely and efficient manner.The ideal
candidate must have a positive attitude and engaging personality and
must be available to work shifts including weekends.A keen interest in
food & strong wine knowledge is a must.SERVER DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES: Greet guests and presents them with the menu. Inform
guests about the special items for the day and menu changes if any.
Suggest food and beverages to the guest and also try to upsell. Obtain
revenues, issue receipts, accept payments, return the change. Perform
basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor. Fill in for
absent staff as needed
